Oisin McConville’s Wicklow have secured a Tailteann Cup Quarter Final berth with a strong second half showing against Leitrim in Glennon Brothers Pearse Park, Longford this evening.

Fermanagh advanced to the last four of the Junior Championship with a five point win over Derry in Enniskillen tonight. The exceptional Eimear Smyth scored 14 points for the Erne County. With one game left to play in the group, the result also sees Carlow advance to the last four having recorded three wins from four. 

Galway, Kilkenny, Cork and Tipperary have all qualified for the knockout stages of the Glen Dimplex Senior Championship, two final spots are to be filled on that list, while the semi-final places will make for interesting viewing on the final weekend.

Waterford have won their 16th Munster Senior Cup this evening beating Kerry FC 2-1 in Turners Cross.
