Oisin McConville’s Wicklow have secured a Tailteann Cup Quarter Final berth with a strong second half showing against Leitrim in Glennon Brothers Pearse Park, Longford this evening.

The GAA today published its Master Fixtures schedule for 2024 covering all levels of intercounty action for the next twelve months.

Waterford have won their 16th Munster Senior Cup this evening beating Kerry FC 2-1 in Turners Cross. 

With four of the six knockout places secured who will join Galway, Kilkenny, Cork and Tipperary after this final weekend of action in the Glen Dimplex Senior All-Ireland Championship. Along with that Limerick and Antrim meet in a big fixture in Rathkeale to fight for survival. 

Fermanagh advanced to the last four of the Junior Championship with a five point win over Derry in Enniskillen tonight. The exceptional Eimear Smyth scored 14 points for the Erne County. With one game left to play in the group, the result also sees Carlow advance to the last four having recorded three wins from four. 

The Irish Rugby Football Union have released details of the season structure of the Men’s and Women’s Energia All-Ireland League and other domestic rugby competitions for the 2024/25 season.
